Johanna und der Papagei

An animated short film developed as an entirely AI-driven production. The story follows Johanna and her parrot across different stages of her life, beginning in post-war Germany and exploring memory, displacement and companionship.
The project draws on my father’s family history: his family emigrated from South Tyrol to Venezuela after the Second World War. Characters and settings are built from historical references and private family photographs. The first keyshots are developed; with the script now closed, the project is in production design.
