Johanna und der Papagei

An animated short film developed entirely with AI. The story follows Johanna and her family from post-war Europe to exile in South America, exploring memory, displacement and companionship.

The project draws on my father’s family history: his family emigrated from South Tyrol to Venezuela after the Second World War. Characters and settings are built from historical references and private family photographs. The screenplay is complete and the first key shots are created; production has started.
